- Edge support: The edge support is often described as mediocre, with noticeable sinkage when sitting or lying on the side.
- Bounce: The Supreme has very low bounce, which can make it less than ideal for sexual activity.

- Costco exclusive: More recent versions of the Tempur-Supreme have been sold exclusively through Costco, making it a more affordable way to buy a Tempur-Pedic mattress.
- Value perception: Some reviewers note that while it's a lower-priced Tempur-Pedic model, its performance is also below average compared to other mattresses, making it a potentially poor value proposition.
- Warranty: The Costco model typically comes with a 10-year warranty, which is shorter than the average warranty for many premium mattresses.
